Configuring Outlook 2003 to not download email from POP Server.

1. Go to your menu bar and click Tools.

2. Select Email accounts from the Tools menu. If Email accounts is not there, you may need to click the down arrow to expand the current menu.

3. Select the bubble that says "View or Change Existing Email Account."

4. Select the appropriate email address you want to change and click "change."

5. Click "More Settings" button.

6. Select "Advanced" tab.

7. See bottom and select the checkmark next to "Leave a copy of message on the server."

8. From here you have two options, one to leave the message on the server for X number of days and the other one which will only delete the mail from the server, once you delete it from your outlook "deleted" folder.

These are basically the steps to leave mail on the server so you can access it from multiple locations. If you wish to syncronize email actions and calendars, please look into setting up an IMAP account, rather than a POP account (both offered by SkyDev).
